Center for Collegiate Mental Health (CCMH) at Penn State is the largest practice-research-network of its kind in the world. CCMH has a network of 800+ college counseling centers that use standardized assessments (CCAPS) with clients during routine mental health treatment.

The deidentified data on college student mental health is used to continually improve clinical tools used by clinicians during treatment, provide up to date data on college student mental health to the community, and allow peer reviewed research on college student mental health. By bringing together clinical work, research and technology, CCMH is able to maintain a continuously flowing database of college mental health data to serve as a resource for information and research on college student mental health. CCMH currently has data on over 1.5 million clients in mental health treatment.
